I often get push back or apprehension from my clients when I suggest tones of gray paint, from gasps to vigorous head shaking and the response "I don't want my house to be dark and dreary". Quite the contrary, tones of gray and be peaceful, quiet, and welcoming and works swimmingly with any design vernacular from traditional to modern.
